Ugly Shoes for 2K15 (Flatforms edition)

Rick Owens SS2015

Honestly...!!!?? I don't know what to say but I want to say so much! I love them. I want them. Send them to me! I want to give a full review and prance around the city in these shoes with white paint on my feet. Rick Owens is honestly a favorite and I mean it. I love his silhouettes or lack of in his clothing and of course the lack of color. He does get haters from dweebs who criticized his choice of dancers and steppers instead of waif-like models last season to haters who just don't like him because he isn't Chanel (insert mega eyeroll). I dig this shoe. It imitates the Japanese Geta which normally has one or two spikes to walk on. These have more which is more appealing to people who simply can not balance on an elongated spike down the middle of their shoe. It laces up around the ankle like ballet slippers which means ugly to me because I abhor wrap around shoes. (Long story..) The ankle brace made out of leather is heavenly and especially the taupe leather/suede one reminds me of Ace bandages! (Remember the other Ugly Shoes for 2K15 flat sandal edition with the fantastic ankle bandage look??) Honestly, throw my body to Rick with a note begging for these shoes because I'm in lurrvvee!

Dim some cute clothes!

DIM. E CRES. 14-15FW 'DIM ON THE TABLE' WINTER/PRE-SPRING HOLIDAY COLLECTION
I first stumbled upon this collection through a tumblr mutual. I quickly reblogged and liked it in the sense of it gave me an urban-esque feel on quite minimalistic clothing. Maybe it's the styling or perhaps the accessories that highlight the looks I want to try, but I love it! It's fun. It's different. Im a big fan of fabric-y feels! I love separating items by feels and looks and patterns. I could seriously see myself in the overall dress. I could see myself in the camel coat or the wide neck turtleneck. I like the dusty pink socks and the wide leg blue capris as well. I just like the set to be honest. Out of the collections photos, these are my favorites!

Bomber jackets are da bomb

Is it spring time yet? Better yet, can the weather just get like 10 degrees higher than the 40 it seems to be stuck on? I'm ready for bomber jacket weather. I've always been a fan of these satin-y jackets for years. I remember my first bomber jacket I got from an attic in my house in 4th grade. I wore it in drill team classes until  the seams ripped and I nearly passed out from the stifling heat of it in June. I have searched high and low for the perfect puffy but not Michelin man-esque jackets that seems to be the figures of Kylie Jenner and Kanye West. I found a few sites that cater to the rockin' jacket in numerous hues, fabrics and shapes. Check it out here, here, here, here

Burberry Prorsum

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015
Burberry? Is that you? I honestly can't believe it. This collection was a bit different and by a bit I mean, a lot. It received mixed reactions, many from loyal Burberry worshipers in confusion. Some stated how the hats were hideous and "stupid". Some were angry about how the clothing seemed to carry a more colorful, urban approach such as the denim pieces and colorful bags. Of course, there were others like me who beamed at the new collection. I've always been the brit brand's fan but I was simply getting bored with the clothing they offered. Prorsum has always been more hip but this collection seemed fabulous. Bucket hats, no matter what color, size or structure are always going to be for this year. Denim will be in fashion forever.
Bruce Chatwin was the muse of this season and was proud of this collection which mimicked hs lifestyle as a adventurer and writer. The satchels were large and colorful echoing the many designs of bags he had seen in various countries. Scarves were wrapped around the models neck in a absense of care, ends uneven and windblown. The beachy hats flopped over the models eyes and many sport coats didn't have shirts underneath. The colors were rich and deep. Some seemed weather-beaten as if Chatwin had personally given some of his own clothing to be worn on the runway. Shoes without socks, jackets without tops and oversized coats littered the runway providing a sense of freedom and coolness. It says vacation and travel in subtilness and style.

Punk Realness

Unif Heathers Boot
What I wouldn't do to grab a pair of either one! The Unif heathers remind me of what I used to wear with my plaid skirts in school. Ahhh! Hope I get to cop a pair!
